Research Presentation: Georgina Montgomery

Georgina Montgomery (Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, History and Lyman Briggs College; University of Minnesota Ph.D 2005)
Montgomery studies the history of the life sciences, specifically the history of primatology, evolution, the human-animal boundary, and gender and science. Her current manuscript, Primates in the Real World, looks at the history and development of primatology. Montgomery’s current position is partly in History and partly at the Lyman Briggs College, which is an institution within Michigan State dedicated to bridging the gap between humanities and sciences.
